Meet Christopher Carnes a candidate for Valley-Wide Recreation and Park District.

Chris and his wife Mary are long time residents of Menifee. A retired educator, Menifee Cupboard boardmember, Little League coach and umpire. Many residents know the Carnes from the original Christmas House in the Menifee Lakes neighborhood.

Please note: Only voters on the east side of the I-215 freeway will have him on their November 5th ballots.

If you live on the east side of I-215, most of Menifee’s parks are owned and operated by the Valley Wide Parks and Recreation District. You will get the opportunity to vote for our representative on that Board. I hope you will vote for Chris Carnes. He is a dedicated resident and has our best interests in mind. Christopher Carnes has been in this community since 1995, and is a well respected community advocate. He volunteers countless hours for the citizens in this community, and is the obvious selection for this position. He always puts other people's needs first, and will be a strong voice for the community.

Christopher Carnes’ work experience and his dedication and involvement with the community of Menifee makes him uniquely qualified to serve on the Valley Wide Parks Board. His diligence and practice of overseeing the books for multiple businesses and organizations have ensured fiscal stability for both the businesses and non-profit organizations he has worked for.  From Arts Council Menifee, The Community Cupboard and The Menifee Lakes Homeowners Association to Little League and PTA he has ensured that the funds allocated for a particular expenditure are not diverted and are not wasted.  If elected, Christopher Carnes will serve as a long-awaited voice on the Board of Directors for Valley Wide Recreation and Parks District representing of us who live in the City of Menifee and will strive to ensure that our Menifee Parks will get the funding and essential support that we as citizens are paying for.

Candidate Carnes is a resident and neighbor who truly cares about our community and quality of life for all residents. I wholeheartedly endorse his candidacy.

Chris' connection to our parks runs deep. His now -adult children grew up playing and exploring in our local parks, and he understands firsthand the vital role they play in shaping our community.
